Cardiovascular Sonography / Technology (Associates Degree) - A key part of any heart health care team, the Cardiovascular Sonography program at Sanford-Brown Institute is designed to prepare graduates for a career as a Cardiovascular Technician or Sonographer. In addition to learning how to evaluate images to see if they are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes, students will learn how to send images to a doctor, explain procedures to patients, record medical history, detect differences between health and disease, and effectively operate sonography equipment.

Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions/Dental Hygiene (Diploma) - Equipping graduates with the skills they need in order to seek entry-level employment as dental assistants, the Dental Assistant and the Dental Hygiene curriculums at SBI is are Diploma programs. In addition to pathology, dental anatomy, and dental instruments, students in this program receive instruction on x-rays, radiography, and chair-side assistance techniques. Consisting of lecture, lab, and clinical coursework, the program also includes a final externship.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Associates Degree) - Through a series of lecture, lab, and externship coursework, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program will prepare students to seek entry-level employment as diagnostic medical sonographers. In addition to learning how to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, students of this course of study will learn about vascular ultrasound, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.

Medical Assistant (Diploma) - The Medical Assistant program trains students to work on the clinical and administrative aspects of a medical office or facility. Graduates of this program are eligible to take the Certified Medical Assistant exam and the Registered Medical Assistant exam. Additional fees and/or studying may apply.
